A Temporary Residence Card (TRC) is an official identity card issued by the Immigration Department granting multiple-entry residence rights in Vietnam for 2 to 5 years.
1. Key TRC Categories & Validity
- LD1, LD2: Foreign workers with valid Work Permits (up to 2 years).
- DT1, DT2, DT3: Foreign direct investors based on capital contribution (3 to 5 years).
- TT: Dependents (spouses and children under 18) of eligible cardholders.
2. Key Compliance Requirements
- Passport validity must exceed the requested TRC duration by at least 30 days.
